Report on Welcome Day

“The first day of school marks the beginning of a wonderful journey, where small steps taken today pave the way for big dreams tomorrow.”

JSS Public School, JSSTI Campus welcomed tiny tots on 2nd June 2025. A warm, joyful, and welcoming atmosphere was created for our nursery students, helping them to begin their school life with excitement and comfort. The nursery wing was beautifully decorated to make the occasion vibrant and appealing.
The programme was inaugurated by our esteemed Principal, Smt. Suma K.B by cutting the ribbon. To make the day engaging and memorable for the little ones, the teachers organized a variety of fun-filled activities. Children were welcomed with floral showers, a traditional tilakam was applied on their foreheads, and they received thoughtful takeaway gifts as tokens of love.

One of the highlights of the event was the palm-print activity, where children, along with their parents, joyfully participated and created lasting memories. The day also included a traditional pooja ceremony, along with Aksharabhyasam ritual, invoking the blessings for a successful and enriching academic journey.
Our Principal interacted warmly with the nursery students and appreciated their enthusiastic participation in all the activities.

Overall, the Welcome Day celebration provided a wonderful platform to foster a strong bond between the students, teachers, and parents, making it a joyful start for our bright young stars.
